The Oregon Coast anglers association, Winchester Bay STEP, and ODFW volunteers will be at Lake Marie on Sunday, to help children catch some trout on Free Fishing Weekend. Starting at 9 am, Children can cast their lines into a guided net area to catch a trout. Approximately 300 legal-size trout will be released. For the lucky anglers that catch a fish, the fish will be cleaned, iced, and bagged for the children. No license is required, and you must comply with the catch limits, but the Free fishing is sure to bring lots of good memories and smiles.
