Coos History Museum is having a free day for the public, this 8th from 10 to 5pm. You can learn about the invasive European green crab and partake in creating a crab of your own, to take home! The Museum is also hosting Explorer's Club from 11 to 4pm. The explorers club in 2022 is all about encouraging local families to join on every free Second Saturday and at Explorer’s Club for fun and educational activities for children. For some added benefits, Explorer’s Club now has the option of registration so that parents and children may receive some additional benefits. Some of the benefits of Explorers club include, An Adventure Journal for children to document their progress each month, activity kit each month, a small prize at the end of the year for participation at any level (must have at least 1 activity documented and approved in Adventure Journal) and a raffle entry for the grand prize for all children who participate in at least 7 activities during the year.
